Aunt Jean'S Marchetti - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 lb. ground beef
    1 can tomato soup
    1/3 c. minced green pepper
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 large pkg. sharp shredded Cheddar cheese
    8 oz. pkg. extra wide noodles
    1 chopped onion
    1 (6 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
    1/2 tsp. oregano
Preparation
    Brown beef.
    Add onion and pepper.
    Cook until tender and drain.
    Add remaining ingredients except noodles and cheese.
    Cook noodles and arrange in layers, starting with noodles, 1/2 sauce, 1/2 cheese.
    Repeat.
    Cover with foil and bake 1 hour in a greased 9 x 13-inch pan at 375\u00b0.
    Can be made a day ahead and baked next day.
