Saucy Short Ribs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. lean beef ribs
    1 Tbsp. oil
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 Tbsp. prepared horseradish
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. ???
    2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
Preparation
    Cut beef into 4 pieces.
    Brown on all sides in hot oil in skillet.
    Pour off excess fat.
    Combine remaining ingredients and pour over ribs.
    Cover.
    Simmer 1 1/2 hours or until meat is tender.
    If sauce becomes too thick, add small amount of water. Makes 4 servings.
