Traditional Maple Walnut Candies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (1 lb.) boxes confectioners sugar
    1 can condensed milk
    1/2 lb. chopped walnuts
    1 (1 oz.) bottle maple extract
    1 lb. semi-sweet chocolate
    paraffin wax
Preparation
    In a double boiler, melt chocolate and a 2 x 2-inch square of wax.*
    By hand or food processor, mix sugar and milk.
    Add walnuts and extract.
    Roll into small balls.
    Place on waxed paper.
    With a toothpick, pick up a ball and dunk into chocolate mixture. Return ball to wax paper.
