Corn Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    2/3 c. self-rising meal
    milk
    1 Tbsp. bacon grease
Preparation
    In small bowl, beat egg; pour in meal and enough milk to make it soft.
    Add bacon grease and mix.
    Fry in hot skillet by tablespoons.
    Have skillet good and hot with enough bacon fat to even out.
    Takes less than five minutes to make.
