Swiss Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2-inch thick round steaks
    1/2 c. flour
    1 large onion
    1 sweet pepper
    1/4 lb. butter
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 can tomato soup
Preparation
    Sear steak on both sides real good after rolling it in flour. Put steak in roaster or large casserole.
    Put onions, peppers, butter, salt, sugar and soup over top of steak.
    Pour enough boiling water on this to cover.
    Cover roaster and bake slowly at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
    Serve hot.
