Corn Bread Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients
- 
                            3/4 c. milk
 
3/4 c. corn bread mix
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 lb. ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can tomato soup
2 c. water
1 Tbsp. chili powder
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
- 
                            Mix milk, corn bread mix and sugar. Set aside. Brown beef and onion.
 
Add soup, water and seasonings.
Mix and simmer for 15 minutes.
Pour into large skillet or 9-inch baking dish. Top with corn bread batter and bake at 350\u00b0 for 18 to 20 minutes.
Yields 4 generous servings.
