Gourmet Cheese Potatoes - cooking recipe

6 medium potatoes
2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1/4 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sour cream or 1 c. milk
1/3 c. chopped onion
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 Tbsp. butter
paprika
Preparation

Cook potatoes in skin. Peel and shred coarsely.
Combine in a saucepan the cheese and 1/4 cup butter. Stir until melted. Blend sour cream or milk, onion and seasoning.
Fold in potatoes and pour into a greased 2-quart casserole.
Dot with butter and sprinkle paprika over top. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes. Serves 6.
