Bacon Stuffed Burgers - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 slices bacon
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 (4 oz.) can mushroom pieces (optional)
1 lb. ground beef
1 lb. bulk pork sausage
1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
2 Tbsp. steak sauce
8 hamburger buns, split and toasted
lettuce
tomatoes
fresh onion
dill pickle
mustard
mayonnaise
Preparation

Cook bacon until crisp.
Remove bacon and discard all but 2 tablespoons of drippings.
Saute onion in drippings until tender. Crumble bacon and add with mushrooms to skillet.
Set aside. Then, combine ground beef, sausage, cheese, pepper, garlic powder and steak sauce.
Shape into 16 patties.
Divide bacon mixture and place on top of 8 of the patties.
