Cheesy Spoon Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. corn meal
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard or 1 tsp. prepared mustard
    1/8 tsp. cayenne or hot pepper
    3 c. milk, scalded
    1 c. grated American cheese
    6 eggs, beaten
Preparation
    Mix cornmeal,
    salt,
    mustard
    and pepper together.
    Add to milk and cook,
    stirring
    constantly,
    until
    mixture thickens. Add cheese; cook and stir until
    cheese
    melts, about 2 or 3 minutes.
    Add eggs and mix thoroughly.
    Pour
    into
    greased baking dish and bake at 350\u00b0 until puffy and browned, about 45 minutes. This is supposed to serve 12, but is barely enough for our family of 8.
