Chinese Sausage Bites - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. bulk pork sausage
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    3/8 c. bread cubes
    3/4 c. chili sauce
    1/4 tsp. garlic salt
    3/8 c. brown sugar
    1/8 c. vinegar
    1/8 c. soy sauce
    4 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    In a bowl combine sausage, eggs and bread cubes.
    Use a teaspoon for amount to form small balls.
    In a frying pan cook balls evenly until brown; drain on paper towels.
    In a pot mix chili sauce, sugar, vinegar, garlic salt and soy sauce.
    Cook slowly for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Place balls in a serving bowl and cover with sauce.
    Serve with toothpicks.
    Yield: 20 to 25 appetizers.
