Spaghetti With Clam Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 stick butter
    4 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 c. chopped scallions
    1/2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1/2 tsp. basil
    1 clove garlic
    1 peeled tomato
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 (7 1/2 oz.) cans chopped or minced clams
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. spaghetti
    8 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Heat butter and olive oil, reserve 2 tablespoons of this mixture. Add scallions, saute briefly.
    Add parsley, oregano, basil, garlic, tomato, salt, pepper and clam juice drained from clams.
    Simmer briefly.
    Add clams and then keep hot.
    Boil spaghetti and drain.
    Return to pan in which it was boiled.
    Add reserved butter mixture and Parmesan.
    Toss.
    Add 1/4 sauce to spaghetti, toss again.
    Serve with more sauce on top.
