Black-Eyed Pea Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 cans black-eyed peas
2 c. chopped tomatoes
1 c. chopped onion
1 clove chopped garlic
3 c. water
2 beef bouillon cubes
5 strips bacon
jalapeno peppers, chopped (as many as you want)
salt and pepper to taste
1 c. grated cheese
Preparation

Cut up and brown bacon.
Add onion, garlic, tomatoes and jalapeno peppers.
Saute until vegetables are done.
Add drained black-eyed peas, salt, pepper, water and bouillon.
Simmer a short time.
Add grated cheese.
