Lemon Date Cake(Christmas Special) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 lb. dates
1 lb. oleo
juice of 1 lemon
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1 lb. nuts
1 oz. bottle lemon extract
4 c. flour
4 eggs

Preparation

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, lemon juice and lemon extract. Add 3 cups flour and baking powder. Add dates and nuts with 1 cup of flour. Bake at 250\u00b0 for 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
