Christmas Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. evaporated milk
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 2/3 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. (4 oz.) miniature marshmallows
    1/2 c. chopped pistachio nuts
    1 1/2 c. chocolate chips
    1/4 c. crushed peppermint sticks
Preparation
    Mix first 4 ingredients in saucepan.
    Bring to a boil and cook for 4 to 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
    (Begin timing when the mixture bubbles.)
    Remove from heat and add marshmallows, chocolate chips and nuts.
    Stir briskly until marshmallows are melted.
    Pour into buttered 8-inch square pan and sprinkle with candy.
    Cool thoroughly until firm.
    Cut into squares.
    Makes about 2 pounds.
