Cooked Oatmeal Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. cooked oatmeal
    2 egg yolks
    1/2 c. milk
    1 1/2 c. flour
    pinch of salt
    4 tsp. baking powder
    2 egg whites
Preparation
    Mix together the flour, salt and baking powder; set aside. Beat the egg whites until stiff; set aside.
    Cream the butter and sugar together.
    Beat the egg yolks thoroughly; add to the creamed mixture.
    Stir in the oatmeal and the milk, then add the dry ingredients that have been mixed together.
    Lastly, fold in the stiffly beaten egg whites.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 25 minutes, or until tops are browned and a pick inserted into a muffin comes out without batter clinging to it.
