6 Week Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    15 oz. box raisin bran or plain bran cereal
    1 qt. buttermilk
    1 c. oil
    2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    4 eggs
    5 c. flour
    5 tsp. baking soda
    blueberries or nuts (optional; add just before baking)
Preparation
    Mix cereal, buttermilk, oil, sugar and eggs.
    Sift flour, salt and soda together.
    Stir into cereal mixture.
    Cover and refrigerate 6 hours before using.
    When ready, fill paper lined muffin tins 2/3 full.
    (Batter will keep for 6 weeks, covered, in refrigerator.)
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
