Raw Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2/3 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    2 1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    2 tsp. baking soda
    4 c. peeled and diced apples
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1/2 c. raisins
Preparation
    Cream together the sugar and shortening.
    Beat in eggs.
    Sift dry ingredients and add to mixture with fruit and nuts.
    Place in greased square pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 60 minutes.
