Blackberry Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. blackberries
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. tapioca
    1 1/3 c. water
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 c. flour
    5 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    6 Tbsp. shortening
    2/3 c. milk
    1/4 tsp. lemon extract
Preparation
    Combine berries, sugar, tapioca, water and butter and let stand while making crust.
    Sift flour, 2 teaspoons sugar, baking powder and salt together.
    Cut in shortening.
    Add milk all at once.
    Roll out, cut into 8 (2 1/2-inch) rounds and sprinkle each with sugar.
    Add lemon extract to berries and pour into baking dish.
    Place rounds over berries and bake at 425\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
