Aunt Hattie'S Ginger Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. molasses
    2 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. cloves
    2 tsp. ginger
    4 c. flour
Preparation
    Cream the shortening and sugar.
    Beat in eggs, molasses, spices and baking soda.
    Add flour.
    Chill dough.
    Roll dough in balls.
    Dip in sugar and place 2 inches apart on lightly greased cookie sheet.
    Bake 6 to 8 minutes at 375\u00b0.
    Makes 6 to 7 dozen.
