Fresh Apple Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 (8-inch) frozen pie crusts
1/2 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
dash of salt
5 c. thinly sliced apples (about 5 medium)
1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Heat oven to 425\u00b0.
Have pie crust ready.
Mix flour, sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon and salt.
Stir in apples.
Turn into pie crust. Dot with butter.
Cover with top crust that has slits cut in it. Seal.
Cover edge with 3-inch strips aluminum foil.
Remove foil during last 15 minutes of baking.
Bake until crust is brown and juice begins to bubble through slits in crust, 40 to 50 minutes.
