Hope'S Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. flour
    3/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/3 c. shortening
    3/4 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Mix well; roll to 1/2-inch thickness.
    Bake at 425\u00b0.
    Yields 10 to 12 biscuits.
