Shrimp With Lemon And Fresh Basil - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 gal. water
1/2 tsp. salt
1 bay leaf
4 lemon slices
2 lb. shrimp in shell
1 c. virgin olive oil
1/3 c. fresh lemon juice
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. fresh garlic, minced
2 Tbsp. fresh minced basil
2 Tbsp. fresh minced parsley
1/4 tsp. black pepper
Preparation

Combine water, salt, bay leaf and lemon slices in saucepan over high heat.
Simmer 3 minutes, then add shrimp.
Cook on low heat until shrimp are pink throughout.
Drain off water, allow shrimp to cool.
Peel, leaving tails intact, and devein.
Set aside.
