One Dish Meal - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large onion
    1 chopped green pepper
    1 c. chopped potatoes
    1 lb. raw ground beef
    1 c. chopped celery
    1/4 c. rice
    1 can kidney beans
    1 can chopped tomatoes
Preparation
    Slice the onion in bottom of a large casserole. Put the other ingredients in layers over the onion.
    Pour the tomatoes over the top.
    Place strips of bacon on top of the tomatoes.
    Cook, covered, 2 hours at 300\u00b0.
    Uncover and cook 30 minutes.
    Makes a great Sunday dinner.
