Barbecue Beef - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 to 3 lb. beef chuck roast
1 large onion, chopped
1/2 c. celery, diced
2 Tbsp. vinegar
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
4 Tbsp. lemon juice
5 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 c. catsup
3 tsp. chili powder
1 1/2 c. water
Preparation

Place raw meat in roaster.
Place onion and celery on top of meat.
Combine remaining ingredients and pour over meat.
Cover and bake in a 350\u00b0 oven until beef is very tender and well done and will shred when picked apart.
Remove from roaster and shred with forks while still hot.
Return to sauce in roaster.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Serve in hamburger buns.
Makes 15 to 20.
