Potato Cheese Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 Tbsp. butter
5 c. diced red potatoes
1 1/2 c. chopped celery
1 c. chopped onions
2 c. chicken stock
2 c. sharp shredded Cheddar cheese
3 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. bacon bits or chopped ham
Preparation

Melt butter in large saucepan.
Add potatoes, celery and onions.
Saute until onions are translucent.
Stir in chicken broth.
Cover and cook until vegetables are tender.
Ladle half into blender or mash by potato masher.
(This thickens the soup). Return to heat and add milk and cheese.
Add seasonings.
