Orange Pound Cake - cooking recipe

1 lb. butter
3 c. sugar
6 large eggs
2 tsp. orange rind
1 tsp. vanilla
4 c. flour
1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. orange juice
1 tsp. almond extract
Preparation

Beat butter at medium speed.
Gradually add sugar, beating well.
Add eggs, one at a time. Add flour to creamed mixture, alternating with milk and orange juice, beginning and ending with flour mixture, mixing well after each addition.
Stir in orange rind and flavorings.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour and 25 minutes.
