Egg-Sausage Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. bulk pork sausage
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. milk
4 hard-cooked eggs, sliced
1 (17 oz.) can whole kernel corn, drained
3/4 c. soft bread crumbs (1 slice)
1 Tbsp. butter, melted
Preparation

In a skillet, cook sausage until browned; drain fat.
In a saucepan, melt 1/4 cup butter; stir in flour and salt.
Add milk, all at once.
Cook and stir until mixture is thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir 1 to 2 minutes more.
Stir in cooked sausage, sliced eggs and drained corn.
Pour mixture into a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
Toss bread crumbs with melted butter; sprinkle over casserole.
Bake, uncovered, in a 350\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes or until heated through.
Serves 6 or 8.
