Tomato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. bacon
    1 large onion
    1 qt. canned tomatoes
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. black pepper
Preparation
    Cut bacon in small pieces and cook until crisp.
    Add sliced onion and cook until tender.
    Drain bacon grease.
    Add tomatoes, salt and pepper.
    Bring to a boil.
    Turn heat to simmer and cook about 10 minutes.
