Opal Critchfield'S Pot Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 or 3 1/2 lb. chuck roast of beef
    Lawry's seasoned salt
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    2 c. water
    5 medium potatoes, quartered
    1 large onion, cut into 8 to 10 pieces
    5 carrots, quartered
    2 level Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    Sprinkle roast liberally with seasoned salt on both sides. Rub pepper over roast and place in roasting pan.
    Pour 1 cup of the water in pan and cook for 2 1/2 hours at 325\u00b0.
    Add the vegetables around the roast and cook for 1 hour more.
    Remove roast to serving platter.
