Banana-Bran Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. softened margarine
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 1/2 c. mashed ripe bananas (4 small)
    1 c. whole bran cereal
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Grease 9 x 5 x 2 3/4-inch pan.
    Sift flour with baking powder, baking soda and salt.
    Set aside.
    At high speed of mixer, beat margarine, sugar, egg and vanilla until smooth.
    Stir in banana. Add flour mixture, bran and nuts, beating until smooth.
    Turn into prepared pan.
    Cook (350\u00b0 oven) until toothpick inserted into bread comes out clean.
    Cool.
    Slice.
