Crisp Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. margarine
    1 c. shortening
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    4 c. flour
Preparation
    Mix
    in
    order
    of ingredients.
    Form into small balls, flatten with fork to make a crisscross imprint.
    Sprinkle with sugar.
    Colored sugar makes it very pretty.
    Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
    Do not overbake.
