Five Hour Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. chuck, trimmed (uncooked)
    1 c. celery, diced
    4 carrots, cut up
    2 c. tomatoes (1 can)
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    garlic clove (if desired)
    3 Tbsp. Minute tapioca, drained
    1 can water chestnuts
Preparation
    Mix all together in casserole.
    Cover.
    Stir once.
    Bake at 250\u00b0 for 5 hours.
    Serves 6 to 8.
