Soft Molasses Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. evaporated milk or cream
    3/4 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1/2 c. molasses
    3 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Combine milk or cream with vinegar.
    Cream butter and sugar thoroughly.
    Add egg and molasses.
    Beat well.
    Add the soured milk and blend well.
    Add sifted dry ingredients.
    Drop from teaspoon on greased cookie sheets.
    Bake in a moderate oven at 375\u00b0 to 400\u00b0 about 15 minutes.
    Makes about 5 dozen.
