Velveeta Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 lb. Velveeta cheese, cut into cubes
    1 c. (2 sticks) margarine
    6 sq. unsweetened chocolate
    2 Tbsp. light corn syrup
    2 lb. sifted powdered sugar
    1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Heat cheese, margarine, chocolate and syrup in a 3-quart saucepan over medium heat, stirring frequently until melted and smooth.
    Gradually add sugar to chocolate mixture.
    Beat with electric mixer on medium speed until smooth.
    Stir in nuts and vanilla.
    Pour into a 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
    Smooth surface with spatula.
    Cover and refrigerate several hours.
    Cut into squares after firm.
    Makes about 3 1/2 pounds.
