Rice Ring Chantilly - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 envelope unflavored gelatin
    2 c. milk
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 c. cold cooked rice
    2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. whipping cream, whipped
Preparation
    Combine sugar, salt and gelatin in heavy saucepan.
    Stir in milk and eggs; mix thoroughly.
    Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture coats spoon.
    Cool.
    Fold in rice and vanilla.
    Cool until mixture begins to thicken; fold in whipped cream.
    Spoon into lightly oiled 1-quart mold.
    Chill until firm. Unmold.
    Serve with sliced sweetened strawberries.
