Ingredients

6 to 8 tart apples, peeled and cut in eighths
1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 c. flour
1/3 c. butter
Preparation

Arrange apples in pie shell.
Mix 1/2 cup sugar with cinnamon; sprinkle over apples.
Mix remaining sugar with flour; cut in butter until crumbly.
Sprinkle over top.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
Cool and serve.
