Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    German chocolate cake mix
    1/2 c. oil
    3 eggs
    1 1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 can Eagle Brand milk
    1 pkg. caramels
    1 1/2 c. pecans
Preparation
    Mix ingredients.
    Pour 1/2 of batter into greased 9 x 12-inch pan; bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
    Melt caramels, milk and pecans.
    Spread over cake, then pour rest of cake batter on top. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
