Buttermilk Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. flour
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    3 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 stick melted oleo
    1 c. pecans, chopped
    1/4 c. dates
    2 frozen pie crusts
Preparation
    Mix sugar and flour.
    Add buttermilk; stir well.
    Beat eggs until fluffy.
    Add to sugar mixture; mix well.
    Add vanilla and melted oleo.
    Add dates and pecans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes, or until golden brown.
    Center should be firm.
    Makes 2 pies.
