Pineapple Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe

1 1/2 c. brown sugar
3 heaping Tbsp. butter
crushed or sliced pineapple, drained (reserve juice)
3 egg yolks (save egg whites)
1 c. white sugar
1/2 c. water or reserved juice
pinch of salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
