Dorothy Reed'S Germantown Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. white sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. rolled oats
    1 c. coconut
    1 1/4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
    Add egg and vanilla.
    Beat well. Sift in dry ingredients.
    Add oats and coconut last.
    Mix well.
