Lemon Bars Deluxe - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar
    1 c. butter or margarine
    4 beaten eggs
    2 c. white sugar
    1/3 c. lemon juice
    1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Sift together 2 cups flour and powdered sugar.
    Cut in shortening until mixture clings together.
    Press into a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes or until lightly browned.
    Beat together eggs, granulated sugar and lemon juice.
    Sift together the 1/4 cup flour and baking powder.
    Stir into egg mixture.
    Pour over baked crust.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes longer.
    Sprinkle with additional powdered sugar.
    Cool. Cut into bars.
