Maple Crunch Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. Gold Medal flour
    3/4 c. granulated sugar
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. salad oil
    6 unbeaten egg yolks
    1/2 c. cold water
    1 tsp. maple flavoring
    1 c. egg whites
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Mix flour, sugar, salt and baking powder together.
    Put in the middle
    of
    the
    dry
    ingredients, the oil, egg yolks, water, flavoring, etc.
    Beat until smooth.
    Measure egg whites and cream of\ttartar in bowl and beat until very stiff.
    Fold batter into whites
    of\teggs.
    Fold
    in nuts last.
    Pour into tube pan.
    Bake 50 to 55 minutes at 325\u00b0.
    Turn upside down to cool.
