Apple Crisp - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 qt. sliced apples
1/2 c. water
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. sifted flour
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. chopped pecans
cinnamon to taste
Preparation

Place apples in the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch Pyrex dish and pour 1/2 cup of water over apples.
Sprinkle apples with cinnamon (you may wish to add a little sugar to apples if they are sour). Mix together 1 cup sugar, 3/4 cup flour and butter.
Blend until crumbly.
Add pecans and spread over apples.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 45 minutes or until top is brown.
Serve warm, plain or with ice cream.
