Ingredients

3 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. softened butter
1 egg, slightly beaten
3 Tbsp. half and half
1/2 to 1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Sift first 4 ingredients all together.
Blend butter with pastry cutter or fork into dry ingredients until fine particles. Add rest of ingredients.
Blend well.
Chill overnight or for a few hours.
Roll out dough 1/8-inch thick to 1/4-inch thick.
Bake on 400\u00b0 for 5 to 8 minutes.
I use any powdered sugar frosting.
