Cholesterol-Free Sausages With Eggs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. dry garbanzo beans (chickpeas)
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. bottle sauce for gravy
    1/4 c. minced parsley
    1/2 tsp. thyme leaves
    1 c. fresh bread crumbs
    1 tsp. rubbed sage
    1 tsp. paprika
    1/2 tsp. fennel seed
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. salad oil
Preparation
    Day ahead, rinse garbanzo beans in running cold water and discard any stones or shriveled beans.
    In 3-quart saucepan over medium-high heat, heat garbanzo beans, salt and 3 cups water to boiling.
    Boil 2 minutes.
    Remove from heat; cover and let stand 1 hour.
    Drain garbanzo beans, reserving 1/2 cup of liquid.
