Strawberry Shortcake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 angel food cake (store bought)
1 qt. strawberries or 2 pkg. frozen
1 large Cool Whip
sugar to taste

Preparation

Slice cake around in half.
Mash strawberries.
Add sugar to taste.
On bottom layer, put strawberries, then put top layer of cake on.
Add strawberries to top layer.
Ice cake with Cool Whip. Refrigerate.
Cover with wax paper.
