Yellow Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    1/4 c. bell pepper, chopped
    1/3 c. chopped onion
    1 Tbsp. chopped pimentos
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/2 c. shredded mild cheese
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    3 or 4 yellow squash, thinly sliced
Preparation
    Pour melted butter into a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
    Add squash and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    Combine egg, mayonnaise, green pepper, onion, pimentos and sugar.
    Mix well and pour over squash.
    Sprinkle with cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
    Yield: 5 to 6 servings.
