Squash Cheese Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. small yellow squash
    1 small green pepper, minced
    1/4 c. onion, minced
    4 Tbsp. margarine
    2 tsp. sugar
    1 c. milk
    4 sliced dry toasted bread
    1 1/2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar, divided
    3 eggs, beaten
    few drops hot pepper sauce
Preparation
    Wash and slice squash, combine with green pepper and onion in boiling water.
    Cook until tender and drain.
    Add margarine and sugar and stir until melted.
    Combine milk, crumbled toast, 1 cup cheese, eggs and pepper sauce.
    Add to squash and mix well.
    Put into 4 quart casserole dish.
    Sprinkle with 1/2 cup cheese.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 about 20 minutes.
    Serves 10.
