Apple Taffy Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. crushed pineapple
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 egg, beaten
    1 Tbsp. flour
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    8 oz. Cool Whip
    2 c. salted peanuts
    4 c. chopped apples (unpeeled)
Preparation
    Drain pineapple, reserve juice.
    Combine juice, sugar, flour, egg and vinegar.
    Cook on low heat, stirring constantly until thickened; cool.
    Fold in pineapple, Cool Whip, apples and peanuts.
    Refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
