Candied Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 apples
    4 c. sugar
    2 c. corn syrup
    1/4 lb. butter
Preparation
    Mix sugar, syrup and butter in pot.
    Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture spins a thread when tested in water. Place apples on sticks or heavy skewers.
    Dip into syrup.
    Twirl in air to cool.
